We Are The Choices We Make Collectively

Why is such an organization needed?
Because life presents choices, and we are committed to expanding our choices in a way we feel is both unique and unifying.
The choices we make create patterns, texture, colors, vibrations—like the weaving of a pulsating web, one thread at a time. While it may seem complex, it’s not. The web of life is composed of choices that are guided by only one of two emotions, love or fear. All other emotions are but reflections of these two.
Love or fear—this is the making of our lives, and of history.
At the micro level, within each of us, the choice between love and fear plays out at the cellular level every moment. The energy created by love sends the signal to the cells that the environment is safe. This permits the cells to function in the growth mode. Good health is maintained by the cells’ continued growth and regeneration in this field of positive energy. The well-being of the whole is based upon the wellness of all the cells.
On the other hand, the emotion of fear sends the signal to the cells that they must switch to protection mode, a state that precludes growth while survival is the focus. If this state exists for more than brief periods, the cells cease to grow or regenerate, and disease results. When fear occurs as a long-term strategy, this negative energy causes systemic breakdown.
At the macro level, the choice between love and fear determines how our national policies serve our people, and how our foreign policies engage countries large and small. [link to two voices]
When we are coming from love, our policies are consistent with the Golden Rule, a principle found in all the major world religions—the world of integrity, generosity, and monomorality. This is the world of positive public policy, where the power of our nation is enhanced, where peace and security grow.
But when our nation is acting out of fear, our positive impulses shut down. We shield ourselves with public policies that come from the approach of “an eye for an eye,” self-interest, and dual morality. As a strategy, fear-based public policy is fragmented and short-sighted. It leads to institutional breakdown and insecurity.
As we take to heart the wisdom of the cells, this knowledge will signal a shift from fear to love in our individual lives. This shift will necessarily become real at the national and international levels, because in our holographic universe, when we look at what lies within, we are looking at the world outside, as well. What we do and think in one “part” of our lives is reflected throughout the whole, at every level.
At Meta United, our intent is to affect the web of life in a positive way by supporting choices at every level that come from love. We are creating a space for positive transformation and the embracing of our wholeness, our unity.
At this moment in time, this shift is particularly important. The vessel that we call “government” is no longer able to contain the destructive technology that we have made. To continue on our present course, one closely wedded to fear, is to assure destruction, if not extinction, on a massive scale.
The development of technology will continue. It is our government that must be transformed. We the people must demand that the choices made in our name are guided by principles that ensure modern technology is used only for the good of the whole. This will occur as we shift from fear-based public policy to positive public policy.
The transformation from fear to love can be achieved, especially with the tools of communication and mobilization that are now available through the internet. Meta United is committed to this goal.
